Moments to Rebirth

An acrylic 3’x3’ painting depicting the last few moments before a phoenix is force to recall it’s lifeforce in an attempt to initiate a rebirth before it’s death - representing that all challenges will consume you, but it’s the foresight and power within to overcome and rebirth that means more than the defeat.

This piece was particularly difficult to do, because it was done on recycled furniture canvas that was thirsty for paint.
